Gillian Cilibrasi is Program Director for Donna Karan’s Urban Zen’s Integrative Therapy Program, an advanced teaching program focused on integrating complimentary healing modalities into mainstream medical care at institutions such as Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC and UCLA Health Systems in LA.
She is responsible or oversight of all aspects of teacher training for the program, curriculum development (a collaboration with both internal and external consultants) production of instructional materials for teacher education, program assessments and mentorship. She is responsible for outreach to institutions nationwide and coordinates the contract negotiation, logistics and integration of the program into patient care plans at those facilities. Gillian is also a UZIT herself, graduating from the inaugural 2009 class.
Earlier business experience includes co-ownership of a wellness center and day-spa in Woodstock, N.Y. as well as almost a decade as VP of Human Resources at Renal Tech, a medical device development company where she was also a member of the company’s ISO team, responsible for setting and maintaining manufacturing standards; and she also acted as a coordinator for the team that eventually took the company public.
